A temporary road closure has been reactivated to allow Allerdale Borough Council to carry out improvement works to Central Way which are expected to commence 7th September 2021 and anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete.

Location: The U2650 Central Way, Workington from its junction with Brow Top Car Park, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. distance of 110m.
Alternative Route: Via Brow Top Car Park, U2545 William Street, A597, The Viaduct, Station Road, Oxford Street and the unrestricted section of Central Way.
