Town Assembly
The Town Council organises a Town Assembly every year.
​
It is not a Council Meeting but rather an opportunity for the people of the town to find out what the Council has been doing during the year and to ask questions, raise ideas and have their say. There will be a review of council activity for the year followed by a Q&A session.
Agendas and minutes from these meetings can be found below.
Section 14 of Schedule 12 of the the 1972 Local Government Act requires the meeting to be held between 1 March and 1 June every year.

NEXT MEETING: Wednesday 24th April 2024 at 6:30pm.
This meeting is open to the public and will take place in: Workington Town Council Community Centre, Princess Street, CA14 2QG.
