WWII Roll of Honour

Remembrance Sunday is a very important day of year for Workington Town Council.  Along with The Royal British Legion, we organise a town parade and remembrance service at Cenotaphs in Harrington and Workington.

A day for us all to reflect and remember those who gave their lives for us and those who are still serving today.

In the lead up to Remembrance Sunday, you will see silent solider statues throughout the town and we display the names of those who died in WWII by ward in Vulcan Park.

In Vulcan Park, you will also find our 'Hope' statue which was installed as a lasting memorial to all those who have fought and died and those who still serve to this day for us and for their county.

You can download the WW2 roll of honour list here.
