Resurfacing the A595
Resurfacing the A595
Work is planned to resurface the A595 between Great Clifton roundabout and Lillyhall roundabout. The work involves renewing the road surface, replacing road markings, studs and traffic counter loops. The aim is to keep the network safe and operational, as well as improving journeys for customers.
Work will start around the 8 March for around two weeks. This will take place Monday to Friday between 8pm and 6am.
For safety, overnight closures are required, and localised signed diversion routes will be in place.
If you access your property from the A595, a member of Highways England's site team will be situated at every junction and at Great Clifton and Lillyhall roundabouts who will assist you and ensure access to and from your property is maintained. Please note that there may be some delay when resurfacing past your junction.
Whilst Highways England always aims to work to the programme, unforeseen circumstances may mean slight changes occur at short notice. Every effort will be made to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum. However, these works will inevitably generate some noise and disruption and they apologise in advance for any disturbance.
